Auto-detect and centralized management, up to 150 CAPs. License-free management reduces the OPEX of enterprise network. Easy deployment without changing the existing network topology. Unified configuration of wireless networks, support mapping of SSID and VLAN. Support MAC authentication, portal authentication. Dual-link back up for management safety. Should support Band Steering feature that forces the dual-band capable clients to the 5 GHz band on dual-band access points. Should have Band balancing to balance the client load on radios by distributing clients between the 2.4 GHz and 5GHz radios. The Access Point should support IEEE 802.11r Fast BSS Transition and IEEE 802.11k Radio Resource Management neighbor reports. It should also provide client load balancing to enhance WLAN performance by distributing client connections across nearby access points. The Access Point should allow the creation of network access policies based on Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer 4, client operating systems, and client whitelisting. Should protect Wireless network from Denial of Service (DoS) attacks and Intrusion attempts.
